WeatherBank
Spring
Spring can be a potentially dangerous
time of the year for outdoor activities if you are not prepared. This is so
whether you are in "Tornado Alley" or if you are in California.
Severe weather can sneak up on the most observant people. Living in Oklahoma
has taught me from personal experiences that the weather does not always
"obey" the weathermen and sometimes you just can't wait for that next
six o'clock broadcast of the weather. That is why you need Weather Bank. You
can call on WeatherBank's vast collection of past, present, or future weather
forecasts so that you won't be caught off guard and become another statistic in
weather casualties. Even if you live in a "calm" area or if you are going
to be visiting a "calm" region Weather Bank can help keep you out of
misery.
You may think these comments are a
little rash but due to my own personal experiences I know now that you must have
the most recent weather information when you are going to be camping. My
family, with myself included, went camping one year and we didn't have a radio
in our tent with us so we didn't think anything major of the rain that was
coming. It got a little heavier and heavier as the night went on and the
lightning was blinding, the winds became so strong the eventually blew the
tents down just after we safely made it to our car. The following morning when
we were tearing down the camp and putting everything up we found out that there
had been tornadoes all around our position. We lucked out but we will not test
fate again. Now we always have the most current weather information.
You may never encounter such a
situation or you may never go camping but no matter what, Weather Bank can
still help you. Weather Bank can help you if you like to go hiking, camping, or
if you just like to go to Baseball games. WeatherBank can get you any weather
information you may need.
